    Free NHS flu vaccinations are available for eligible groups, including:


    From 1 September 2026

    • Pregnant women
    • Eligible children (where this service is available)

    From 1 October 2026

    • Adults aged 65 and over
    • Adults aged 18–64 in clinical risk groups
    • Carers
    • People living in long-stay residential care
    • Eligible frontline health and social care workers

    Can I have my flu and COVID-19 vaccinations together? In many cases, yes. Our team will confirm what's suitable for you.


    Are there side effects? Like all vaccines, flu and COVID-19 vaccines can cause side effects. These are usually mild and short-lived.


    What if I have allergies? If you have questions about allergies or whether vaccination is suitable for you, please speak to our pharmacy team before booking.

After coming out of the walk in centre after a friend broke their foot the night before , we attempted to pick up her prescription from several pharmacies in the area , they only had part of the prescription. Having arrived a Netherton pharmacy they only had stock for part of the prescription, it could be ordered for Monday which would have been very inconvenient and a long round trip , instead they phoned a follow chemist and went and picked up what they needed to fulfil the prescription- how refreshing and what an excellent service - I only had to wait 10 minutes - thank you so much 😊

      How do I collect my NHS prescription medication?

          You can collect your prescription medication from the pharmacy. You can choose to pick it up in person or, in some cases, have it delivered to your home.

      Can you deliver my prescription/s and is it it free?

          We do not charge for prescription delivery however due to demand we have to prioritise certain individuals, like those who have difficulty traveling to the pharmacy. Speak to our friendly pharmacy team about our delivery options.

      Can I get a repeat prescription for a medicine?

          Yes, if your doctor has authorized it, you can get repeat prescriptions. Your pharmacy can set up a system to automatically refill your prescription when it's due.

      Can I move my prescription/s to your pharmacy?

          Yes, you can transfer your prescription from one pharmacy to another. Simply provide the new pharmacy with your prescription details, and they will arrange the transfer for you. Alternatively, use the app to select our pharmacy to dispense your prescriptions.

      When will my prescription be ready?

          The time it takes for your prescription to be ready can vary based on the pharmacy's workload and the availability of the medication. It's a good idea to call the pharmacy ahead of time to check on the status.

      Can I get advice on over-the-counter medicines?
